Nestled in the sun-drenched steppes of Gagauzia in southern Moldova, the village of Tomai has been synonymous with viticulture since the turn of the 20th century. The Tomai Reserve Cabernet is a testament to this deep-rooted heritage, drawing its character from the region's warm, southern climate and fertile, clay-rich soils. This terroir provides the perfect conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon to achieve optimal ripeness, developing intense black fruit flavors and structured tannins. Crafted using a blend of traditional oak cask aging and modern temperature-controlled fermentation, this reserve bottling showcases a harmonious balance between robust dark fruit notes—such as blackberry and black currant—and subtle nuances of vanilla, spice, and toasted oak derived from its time in wood. It reflects both the rustic soul of Moldovan winemaking and a refined, international appeal.

Det historiske moldoviske vinhus Tomai (Tomai-Vinex) blev grundlagt i 1903 og har hjemme i landsbyen Tomai i den solbeskinnede sydlige region Gagauzien.
