The winemaking heritage of Tomai dates back to 1903, rooted in a terroir characterized by warm, breezy days and fertile soils that allow grapes to achieve optimal ripeness. This semisweet expression is crafted using modern temperature-controlled fermentation, which is halted before all natural grape sugars are converted to alcohol. Det historiske moldoviske vinhus Tomai (Tomai-Vinex) blev grundlagt i 1903 og har hjemme i landsbyen Tomai i den solbeskinnede sydlige region Gagauzien.
