Crafted by the historic Tommasi family, who have championed the viticultural heritage of Valpolicella since 1902, Ca' Florian is a prestigious Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva. Sourced from one of the estate's oldest and most revered single vineyards in Pedemonte, this wine is a testament to traditional craftsmanship. The blend is dominated by Corvina, alongside Corvinone and Rondinella, grown on hilly, clay-limestone soils. Following harvest, the grapes undergo the ancient appassimento method, drying on bamboo racks for over three months to concentrate their sugars, acids, and flavors. The wine is then aged slowly for four years—first in tonneaux and then in large Slavonian oak casks—before resting in the bottle. This painstaking process yields a deeply complex, full-bodied red, rich with notes of dark cherry, dried plum, cocoa, and balsamic undertones.
