✨ wine.spec_sheet

Hailing from the southern shores of Lake Garda, Tommasi's 'Fornaci' is a luminous expression of the Lugana DOC, crafted entirely from the indigenous Turbiana (Trebbiano di Lugana) grape. The name 'Fornaci' pays homage to the ancient Roman brick kilns discovered in the region, a testament to the dense, mineral-rich white clay soils that define this unique lakeside terroir. The Tommasi family meticulously nurtures these vines, benefiting from the mild microclimate created by Lake Garda's breezes. Vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel and aged on its fine lees, this white wine beautifully balances vibrant citrus and white peach aromas with a distinct, savory minerality and a refreshing, almond-tinged finish.
