The Herb Lamb Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon represents a historic partnership between vintner Tor Kenward and the legendary growers Herb and Jennifer Lamb. Situated on a steep, northeast-facing hillside on the lower slopes of Howell Mountain, this unique vineyard is celebrated for its cool microclimate and cobbly, volcanic soils. Unlike the warmer valley floor, this aspect allows for slow, even ripening, imparting a signature high-toned floral perfume, intense blueberry fruit, and refined structure to the wine. Under the guidance of winemaker Jeff Ames, the fruit is gently handled, fermented with native yeasts, and aged in French oak barrels. The resulting Cabernet Sauvignon is highly prized for its balance of power and elegance, showcasing the distinctive terroir of one of Napa Valley's most revered hillside sites.

Founded in 2001 by Napa Valley veteran Tor Kenward and his wife Susan, TOR Wines is an artisanal producer located in St. Helena, California. Drawing upon Kenward's nearly three decades of executive experience alongside legendary growers and winemakers at Beringer Vineyards, the estate is dedicated to crafting small-production, vineyard-designated wines from premier sites throughout Napa Valley. TOR focuses primarily on historic grand cru-caliber terroirs, most notably Beckstoffer To Kalon, Beckstoffer Dr. Crane, and Cimarossa Vineyard.
