TOR's 'Pure Magic' from the legendary Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard in Oakville is a masterclass in Napa Valley terroir. The 'B F D' designation represents an ultra-exclusive, barrel-selection blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc from this historic site. To Kalon, meaning 'the highest beauty' in Greek, was first planted in 1868 by pioneer H.W. Crabb and has since become Napa's most celebrated grand cru-equivalent vineyard. Winemaker Jeff Ames crafts this cuv ee using native yeast fermentations and minimal intervention, allowing the gravelly alluvial soils and unique microclimate of Oakville to speak directly through the wine. It is renowned for its seamless integration of power, opulent dark fruit, and the complex, gravelly minerality characteristic of this hallowed ground.

TOR Wines er et eksklusivt vinhus i St. Helena i Californien, grundlagt i 2001 af Napa Valley-veteranen Tor Kenward og hans hustru Susan. Med udgangspunkt i Kenwards næsten tre årtiers ledelseserfaring i tæt samarbejde med legendariske vinbønder og winemakere hos Beringer Vineyards, har vinhuset dedikeret sig til enkeltmarksvine i stærkt begrænsede mængder fra de ypperste parceller i Napa Valley. TOR har særligt fokus på historiske terroirs af grand cru-kaliber, herunder især Beckstoffer To Kalon, Beckstoffer Dr. Crane og Cimarossa Vineyard.
