Hailing from the high-altitude vineyards of Mendoza, where the dramatic backdrop of the Andes Mountains dictates the climate, Trapiche's Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is a testament to the winery's long-standing mastery of French varietals in Argentine soils. The grapes are selected from vineyards situated at the foothills of the Andes, where warm, sunny days and cool mountain nights preserve acidity while developing deep, concentrated fruit flavors. This wine undergoes careful fermentation followed by approximately 12 months of aging in oak barrels, resulting in a structured yet approachable profile. It weaves together classic notes of black cassis, cedar, and subtle tobacco with a touch of sweet spice, honoring Tiburcio Benegas's 19th-century vision of bringing world-class European winemaking traditions to the unique terroirs of Mendoza.

Bodega Trapiche blev grundlagt i 1883 af Tiburcio Benegas og hører til blandt Argentinas ældste, mest ansete og internationalt anerkendte vinproducenter med base i Maipú, Mendoza.
