Trapiche's Costa and Pampa project represents a pioneering departure from Argentina's traditional high-altitude Andean viticulture, venturing instead to the rolling green hills of Chapadmalal, just six kilometers from the Atlantic Ocean in the Buenos Aires Province. In this unique maritime terroir, the vines are constantly swept by cool ocean breezes and nourished by a humid, temperate climate, reminiscent of northern Europe's great coastal vineyards. The Costa and Pampa Brut Rose is a brilliant expression of this maritime frontier. Crafted from cool-climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the grapes undergo a slow ripening process that preserves their vibrant natural acidity. The resulting sparkling wine is celebrated for its delicate pale pink hue, lively effervescence, and a flavor profile rich in fresh red berries, wild strawberries, and a distinct, refreshing saline minerality that directly reflects its oceanic heritage.
