Hailing from Trapiche's pioneering coastal estate in Chapadmalal, just six kilometers from the Atlantic Ocean, Costa & Pampa Extra Brut represents a daring departure from Argentina's traditional high-altitude, arid terroirs. In this unique maritime climate, the vines are enveloped by cool ocean breezes and constant humidity, resulting in a sparkling wine of exceptional freshness and distinct saline minerality. Crafted to preserve its vibrant fruit character and crisp acidity, this sparkling wine reflects the adventurous spirit of Trapiche's winemakers, who sought to prove that Argentina could produce world-class, cool-climate coastal wines reminiscent of the great maritime regions of the world.

Founded in 1883 by Tiburcio Benegas, Trapiche is one of Argentina's oldest and most pioneering wineries, located in the Maipú department of Mendoza. Operating from a historic, beautifully restored Florentine-style winery built in 1912, the estate is celebrated for introducing French grape varieties and modern viticultural techniques to the region. Under the guidance of renowned winemakers, Trapiche focuses on expressing the diverse terroirs of Mendoza—ranging from high-altitude Andean vineyards to their pioneering coastal estate in Chapadmalal, Buenos Aires. The winery is globally acclaimed for its exceptional Malbecs, particularly its Single Vineyard series, as well as elegant expressions of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir.
