Trapiche's Costa & Pampa project represents a daring viticultural frontier in Argentina, located in Chapadmalal, Buenos Aires Province, just six kilometers from the Atlantic Ocean. Breaking away from the traditional high-altitude, arid terroirs of Mendoza, this pioneering estate embraces a true maritime climate characterized by cool ocean breezes, abundant rainfall, and thermal moderation. The Gewurztraminer planted here thrives in these unique conditions, developing intense aromatics without losing its refreshing natural acidity. Fermented in stainless steel to preserve its pure varietal character, this wine offers a fascinating coastal expression of a classic European grape, marked by a distinct saline minerality derived from the nearby sea.

Founded in 1883 by Tiburcio Benegas, Trapiche is one of Argentina's oldest and most pioneering wineries, located in the Maipú department of Mendoza. Operating from a historic, beautifully restored Florentine-style winery built in 1912, the estate is celebrated for introducing French grape varieties and modern viticultural techniques to the region. Under the guidance of renowned winemakers, Trapiche focuses on expressing the diverse terroirs of Mendoza—ranging from high-altitude Andean vineyards to their pioneering coastal estate in Chapadmalal, Buenos Aires. The winery is globally acclaimed for its exceptional Malbecs, particularly its Single Vineyard series, as well as elegant expressions of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir.
