The Federico Villafañe bottling originates from a meticulously farmed vineyard in La Consulta, located in the southern Uco Valley at an elevation of approximately 1,100 meters above sea level. This high-altitude terroir benefits from extreme diurnal temperature shifts and sandy-loam soils layered over calcium carbonate. The resulting Malbec is highly concentrated and expressive, typically undergoing aging in French oak barrels to refine its robust tannins.
