Named after the Quechua word for 'two,' Iscay represents the harmonious duality of two grape varieties and the shared vision of Trapiche's winemaking team. This exceptional blend pays homage to the traditional Northern Rhône style, co-fermenting robust Syrah with a small percentage of aromatic Viognier. Sourced from high-altitude vineyards in the Uco Valley of Mendoza, the grapes benefit from intense Andean sunlight and dramatic diurnal temperature shifts. This unique terroir imparts deep color, structural complexity, and vibrant acidity. The wine is aged for 15 to 18 months in French oak casks, resulting in a sophisticated profile characterized by ripe black fruits, cracked black pepper, violets, and a subtle, elegant lift of peach blossom from the Viognier.

Founded in 1883 by Tiburcio Benegas, Trapiche is one of Argentina's oldest and most pioneering wineries, located in the Maipú department of Mendoza. Operating from a historic, beautifully restored Florentine-style winery built in 1912, the estate is celebrated for introducing French grape varieties and modern viticultural techniques to the region. Under the guidance of renowned winemakers, Trapiche focuses on expressing the diverse terroirs of Mendoza—ranging from high-altitude Andean vineyards to their pioneering coastal estate in Chapadmalal, Buenos Aires. The winery is globally acclaimed for its exceptional Malbecs, particularly its Single Vineyard series, as well as elegant expressions of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir.
