The Terroir Series Finca Coletto is a tribute to the dedicated grape growers of Mendoza, specifically honoring Victorio Coletto, who planted this historic vineyard in El Peral, Tupungato within the Uco Valley back in 1955. Situated at an elevation of over 1,100 meters, these old, ungrafted vines benefit from intense solar radiation and dramatic diurnal temperature shifts. This unique microclimate yields small, concentrated berries with thick skins. Trapiche crafts this single-vineyard masterpiece to showcase the profound depth of Uco Valley Malbec, aging the wine in French oak barrels to seamlessly integrate its robust structure, velvety tannins, and signature notes of dark plums, balsamic herbs, and mineral-driven acidity.

Founded in 1883 by Tiburcio Benegas, Trapiche is one of Argentina's oldest and most pioneering wineries, located in the Maipú department of Mendoza. Operating from a historic, beautifully restored Florentine-style winery built in 1912, the estate is celebrated for introducing French grape varieties and modern viticultural techniques to the region. Under the guidance of renowned winemakers, Trapiche focuses on expressing the diverse terroirs of Mendoza—ranging from high-altitude Andean vineyards to their pioneering coastal estate in Chapadmalal, Buenos Aires. The winery is globally acclaimed for its exceptional Malbecs, particularly its Single Vineyard series, as well as elegant expressions of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir.
