Trapiche's Terroir Series is a celebrated initiative that shines a spotlight on Argentina's finest independent grape growers and the exceptional microclimates of Mendoza. The Finca Suarez Lastra Malbec originates from a distinguished vineyard in La Consulta, San Carlos, located in the high-altitude Uco Valley. Situated at approximately 1,000 meters above sea level, the vines benefit from intense Andean sunlight and dramatic diurnal temperature swings, which foster thick grape skins, deep color extraction, and vibrant natural acidity. The terroir is characterized by sandy loam soils layered over a calcareous, stony subsoil, imparting a signature mineral complexity and refined structure to the wine. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, this single-vineyard bottling is a profound expression of place, reflecting the dedication of the Suarez Lastra family and Trapiche's commitment to terroir-driven winemaking.

Bodega Trapiche blev grundlagt i 1883 af Tiburcio Benegas og hører til blandt Argentinas ældste, mest ansete og internationalt anerkendte vinproducenter med base i Maipú, Mendoza.
