Trapiche's Oak Cask Chardonnay represents a harmonious marriage of high-altitude Mendoza terroir and classic oak aging. Sourced from selected vineyards situated at the foothills of the Andes Mountains, where intense daytime sunlight and cool alpine nights preserve the grape's vibrant natural acidity, this wine undergoes fermentation followed by aging in French and American oak casks for several months. This traditional process imparts a signature roundness, creamy texture, and subtle toastiness to the wine, beautifully complementing its bright fruit core. The Oak Cask line itself pays homage to the historic wooden vats that have defined Trapiche's cellars since the late 19th century, bridging Argentina's rich winemaking heritage with a modern, approachable style of Chardonnay characterized by ripe red apple, pear, and toasted brioche notes.

Bodega Trapiche blev grundlagt i 1883 af Tiburcio Benegas og hører til blandt Argentinas ældste, mest ansete og internationalt anerkendte vinproducenter med base i Maipú, Mendoza.
