The 'Calcareo' expression is sourced from high-altitude vineyards in the Uco Valley, where the soils are heavily laden with calcium carbonate (limestone) coated gravels. This calcareous soil, combined with the intense alpine sunlight and cool nights of the Andes, yields a Malbec of extraordinary tension and mineral drive.
