Trapiche's Terroir Series is an annual homage to the finest individual growers in Mendoza, and Finca Coletto stands as one of its most legendary jewels. Located in El Peral, Tupungato, within the high-altitude Uco Valley, this historic vineyard was planted in 1945 by Victorio Coletto. The old, ungrafted vines thrive at over 1,100 meters above sea level, where intense solar radiation and cool mountain nights yield small, concentrated berries. This 100% Malbec is crafted to showcase the unique microclimate of El Peral, undergoing meticulous hand-sorting and aging for 18 months in new French oak barrels. The result is a profound, deeply structured red that balances intense black fruit and floral violet notes with a distinct mineral backbone and velvety tannins, capturing the soul of Mendoza's old-vine heritage.
