Trapiche's Terroir Series is a prestigious annual selection that honors the exceptional grape growers of Mendoza, showcasing how microclimates and specific soils shape the Malbec grape. Finca Las Piedras, located in the high-altitude sub-region of Los Chacayes in the Uco Valley, takes its name from the remarkably stony, gravelly soils of the vineyard. These riverbed stones absorb the intense Andean sun during the day and radiate warmth at night, forcing the vines to struggle and yield small, highly concentrated berries. The resulting wine is celebrated for its deep, ink-like color, intense black fruit profile, and a signature mineral, graphite-like complexity. Aged for 18 months in French oak, it represents a sophisticated, structured, and age-worthy expression of Argentine Malbec.
