The Trapiche Terroir Series 'Laborde' Cabernet Sauvignon is a tribute to the exceptional grape growers of Mendoza, specifically Luis Laborde, whose family-tended vineyard in La Consulta, San Carlos (Uco Valley) yields some of the region's finest fruit. Situated at an altitude of nearly 1,000 meters, this single-vineyard expression showcases the dramatic diurnal temperature shifts of the high-altitude Andes. The wine is crafted using traditional fermentation followed by extensive aging—typically 18 months in new French oak barrels. This meticulous process highlights the intense concentration, structured tannins, and vibrant acidity characteristic of La Consulta's unique sandy-loam and calcareous soils, resulting in a sophisticated Cabernet Sauvignon that rivals the world's best.
