Trapiche's Tribu Malbec is crafted as an approachable, fruit-forward introduction to Argentina's signature grape. The name 'Tribu' (meaning 'tribe') pays homage to the shared, communal spirit of enjoying wine with friends and family. Sourced from selected vineyards across the sunny, high-altitude terroirs of Mendoza, this wine is designed to showcase the pure, unadorned character of Malbec. To preserve its vibrant primary fruit flavors of plum and cherry, the winemaking team utilizes temperature-controlled stainless steel fermentation with minimal oak contact. The result is a fresh, easy-drinking red that captures the youthful energy of Mendoza's modern viticulture.

Founded in 1883 by Tiburcio Benegas, Trapiche is one of Argentina's oldest and most pioneering wineries, located in the Maipú department of Mendoza. Operating from a historic, beautifully restored Florentine-style winery built in 1912, the estate is celebrated for introducing French grape varieties and modern viticultural techniques to the region. Under the guidance of renowned winemakers, Trapiche focuses on expressing the diverse terroirs of Mendoza—ranging from high-altitude Andean vineyards to their pioneering coastal estate in Chapadmalal, Buenos Aires. The winery is globally acclaimed for its exceptional Malbecs, particularly its Single Vineyard series, as well as elegant expressions of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir.
