Part of Trapiche's highly acclaimed Terroir Series, the Venturin Malbec is a single-vineyard bottling that honors the vital partnership between the winery and its independent growers. This expression originates from Finca Venturin, a vineyard tended by Jorge Venturin in the prestigious La Consulta district of the Uco Valley, Mendoza. Situated at an elevation of over 1,000 meters, the vines thrive in sandy loam soils layered with calcium carbonate. This unique high-altitude terroir, combined with meticulous hand-harvesting and aging for 12 to 18 months in French oak barrels, yields a Malbec of exceptional concentration, structural complexity, and mineral elegance. It stands as a testament to the modern renaissance of Mendoza's single-vineyard identities.
