As part of Trapiche's esteemed Terroir Series, the Viña Pedro González Malbec is a single-vineyard bottling that celebrates the vital partnership between the winery and its dedicated independent growers. This specific expression comes from Pedro González's vineyard located in El Cepillo, a cool-climate sub-region of the Uco Valley in Mendoza situated at an elevation of over 1,100 meters. The extreme diurnal temperature shifts and calcium carbonate-rich soils of this high-altitude site impart a distinct mineral tension and structural elegance to the wine. Crafted with traditional fermentation and aged for around 18 months in French oak barrels, this Malbec showcases the intense concentration, floral lift, and chalky tannins characteristic of El Cepillo's unique terroir.

Founded in 1883 by Tiburcio Benegas, Trapiche is one of Argentina's oldest and most pioneering wineries, located in the Maipú department of Mendoza. Operating from a historic, beautifully restored Florentine-style winery built in 1912, the estate is celebrated for introducing French grape varieties and modern viticultural techniques to the region. Under the guidance of renowned winemakers, Trapiche focuses on expressing the diverse terroirs of Mendoza—ranging from high-altitude Andean vineyards to their pioneering coastal estate in Chapadmalal, Buenos Aires. The winery is globally acclaimed for its exceptional Malbecs, particularly its Single Vineyard series, as well as elegant expressions of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir.
