Clos Sainte Hune is widely regarded as one of the world's finest and most exclusive expressions of Riesling. Sourced from a historic 1.67-hectare monopole within the Rosacker Grand Cru in Hunawihr, this exceptional vineyard has been in the Trimbach family for over two hundred years. The terroir is defined by its unique Muschelkalk (shattered limestone) soil, which imparts an unmistakable, intense minerality and a crystalline structure to the wine. Trimbach vinifies this masterpiece in a strictly dry style, avoiding malolactic fermentation to preserve the grape's pristine, searing acidity and pure varietal character. After fermentation, the wine is aged in bottle for several years in the estate's cellars before it is deemed ready for release, developing extraordinary complexity, petrol notes, and unmatched depth over time.
