Named in honor of Frédéric Emile Trimbach, who famously secured the estate's reputation at the 1898 Brussels International Exposition, this legendary dry Riesling is a masterclass in Alsatian terroir. It is crafted from a signature blend of grapes grown in two prestigious Grand Cru vineyards that tower directly behind the Trimbach winery in Ribeauvillé: Geisberg and Osterberg. The marl, limestone, and sandstone soils of these steep, south- and southeast-facing slopes impart a profound, laser-like minerality and structural tension. Vinified in a bone-dry style without malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in stainless steel and neutral oak casks before undergoing extensive bottle aging in the deep cellars of Maison Trimbach. This meticulous process yields a Riesling of peerless purity, characterized by vibrant citrus, petrol notes, and a crystalline salinity that reflects its historic origins.
