The 'Hommage Georgette Trimbach' is a rare and deeply personal cuvée created by Maison Trimbach to honor the memory of Georgette Trimbach, the beloved matriarch of the family's 11th generation. Sourced from exceptional old-vine parcels in Ribeauvillé—primarily within the limestone-rich soils of the Osterberg Grand Cru—this Pinot Gris is crafted only in exceptional vintages. Unlike Trimbach's classically bone-dry style, this tribute wine embraces a richer, more opulent profile with a touch of noble sweetness, reminiscent of a Vendanges Tardives. It undergoes slow, cool fermentation in stainless steel and old oak foudres, avoiding malolactic fermentation to preserve the pristine, structural acidity that defines the Trimbach signature. The result is a masterpiece of tension and texture, marrying luscious notes of ripe stone fruits, honey, and smoky minerals with a vibrant, age-worthy spine.

Maison Trimbach blev grundlagt i Riquewihr i 1626 og flyttede senere til Ribeauvillé. Huset rummer i dag tretten generationers urokkelige dedikation til det alsaciske vinbrug. Ejendommen råder over mere end 60 hektar førsteklasses terroir langs forkastningszonen ved Ribeauvillé, særligt i kommunerne Ribeauvillé, Bergheim og Hunawihr. Her mødes en kompleks undergrund af muslingekalk, mergel og sandsten med et beskyttet, halvkontinentalt mikroklima. Efter årtiers bæredygtig dyrkning opnåede Trimbach i 2023 officiel økologisk certificering for samtlige egne vinmarker samt de tilknyttede faste avleres parceller. Vinifikationsfilosofien bygger på en kompromisløs stræben efter balance, nerve og en rank, gastronomisk tørhed. Druerne presses nænsomt, hvorefter mosten gærer parcellært under temperaturstyring på ståltanke og neutrale fade. Den malolaktiske gæring blokeres konsekvent, og vinene modnes tålmodigt på flaske før frigivelse. Huset er verdensberømt for sin krystalklare struktur og fænomenale lagringspotentiale. Ikonerne tæller blandt andet den monumentale enkeltmarks-Riesling Clos Sainte Hune fra Rosacker-parcellen, den legendariske Cuvée Frédéric Emile samt præcist skulpterede Grand Cru-vine fra marker som Mandelberg og Schlossberg.
