Trivento's Chardonnay program highlights the high-altitude terroir of Mendoza, particularly the Uco Valley and Luján de Cuyo. In these elevated vineyards, the dramatic diurnal temperature shifts and intense Andean sunlight allow Chardonnay grapes to develop rich tropical fruit flavors, such as pineapple and pear, balanced by a vibrant, crisp acidity. Established in 1996 as the Argentine subsidiary of Chilean wine powerhouse Viña Concha y Toro, Bodega Trivento takes its name from the three Andean winds that shape Mendoza's viticultural landscape: the arid, warming Zonda, the cooling oceanic Sudestada, and the frigid winter Polar.
