Trivento's flagship Eolo Malbec is born from a singular, historic vineyard planted in 1912 on the high-altitude terraces of Lulunta, Luján de Cuyo, along the northern bank of the Mendoza River. Named after Aeolus, the Greek god of the winds, Eolo pays tribute to the forces of nature that define Mendoza's unique climate. This centenarian vineyard, irrigated by the traditional flood method using pure Andean snowmelt, yields tiny, highly concentrated berries. The wine is crafted with meticulous care, undergoing gravity-fed vinification and aging for 18 months in French oak barrels, followed by an extended period in the bottle. The result is a profound, deeply expressive Malbec that balances intense dark fruit, floral violet notes, and complex mineral undertones with velvety, age-worthy tannins.

Established in 1996 as the Argentine subsidiary of Chilean wine powerhouse Viña Concha y Toro, Bodega Trivento takes its name from the three Andean winds that shape Mendoza's viticultural landscape: the arid, warming Zonda, the cooling oceanic Sudestada, and the frigid winter Polar. Headquartered in Maipú, Trivento manages extensive vineyard holdings spanning premier subregions of the Uco Valley and Luján de Cuyo. The estate's viticulture thrives in semi-arid, high-altitude alluvial terroirs characterized by dramatic diurnal temperature swings and well-draining stony-loam soils.
