The name Trivento, meaning 'Three Winds,' refers to the Polar, Zonda, and Sudestada winds that sweep through the high-altitude vineyards, creating a unique microclimate that naturally regulates grape yields and preserves vibrant acidity. For the Black Series, winemakers select only the finest hand-harvested grapes, which undergo meticulous fermentation and extended aging in French oak barrels. This results in a deeply concentrated, complex wine that honors the rich viticultural heritage of Mendoza, showcasing intense dark fruit, floral violet notes, and a refined, velvety structure.

Established in 1996 as the Argentine subsidiary of Chilean wine powerhouse Viña Concha y Toro, Bodega Trivento takes its name from the three Andean winds that shape Mendoza's viticultural landscape: the arid, warming Zonda, the cooling oceanic Sudestada, and the frigid winter Polar.
