The Old Winery range from Tyrrell's pays homage to the historic, original slab hut winery constructed by Edward Tyrrell in 1858. Crafted to be an approachable, fruit-forward expression of Australian viticulture, this Shiraz is sourced from premium vineyards across South Eastern Australia. It is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel before undergoing maturation with oak to impart subtle spice and structure. The result is a classic, medium-bodied Australian Shiraz that balances rich dark berry fruit with soft, supple tannins, embodying the welcoming spirit of one of Australia's founding wine families.

Founded in 1858 by Edward Tyrrell, Tyrrell's is one of Australia's oldest and most prestigious family-owned wineries, nestled against the Brokenback Range in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales. Spanning five generations of family stewardship, the estate played a seminal role in shaping modern Australian viticulture, including pioneering the country's first commercial Chardonnay with the legendary Vat 47 in 1971.
