✨ wine.spec_sheet

The Cuvée Saint-Pétersbourg is a tribute to the audacity of Madame Clicquot, the legendary 'Grande Dame of Champagne.' In 1814, defying the Napoleonic blockade that paralyzed European trade, she successfully smuggled her prized champagne to the imperial court of Saint Petersburg. The wine became an instant sensation among the Russian aristocracy, securing the house's international fame. This cuvée is crafted in the classic Veuve Clicquot style, dominated by Pinot Noir for structure and power, balanced by the elegance of Chardonnay and the roundness of Meunier. It is distinguished by extended aging on its lees, which imparts a rich complexity, showcasing notes of toasted brioche, ripe pear, and spice, backed by a vibrant, creamy mousse.
