This rare, commemorative cuvée was specially released by Veuve Clicquot to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in 1977. Based on the exceptional 1970 vintage, this bottling highlights the historic house's long-standing relationship with the British Royal Family, who have honored Veuve Clicquot with a Royal Warrant since the 19th century. Built upon the house's signature Pinot Noir dominance from Grand and Premier Cru vineyards, balanced with Chardonnay, the wine underwent extended aging in the ancient chalk crayères of Reims. It stands as a legendary piece of Champagne history, offering a complex profile of toasted brioche, candied ginger, and preserved stone fruits.
