✨ Technical Specifications
Veuve Clicquot's signature Yellow Label Brut is an iconic symbol of Champagne, instantly recognizable by its distinctive golden-yellow label first trademarked in 1877. This non-vintage cuvée is a masterclass in blending consistency, reflecting the house's historic motto: 'Only one quality, the finest.' Dominated by Pinot Noir, which provides the signature structure and strength championed by Madame Clicquot, the blend is balanced by the elegance of Chardonnay and the fruitiness of Meunier. To maintain the house style year after year, the cellar master incorporates a remarkably high proportion of reserve wines, some aged up to nine years. The wine undergoes extensive aging on its lees in the historic chalk crayères of Reims, resulting in a complex Champagne with notes of yellow fruits, brioche, and vanilla.
🍾 About the Producer
Founded in 1772 by Philippe Clicquot in Reims, Veuve Clicquot rose to global prominence under the visionary leadership of Madame Clicquot, the legendary Grande Dame of Champagne who took control of the house in 1805. Renowned for transformative innovations including the creation of the riddling table and the development of the first blended rosé Champagne, the Maison has shaped modern sparkling winemaking history. Anchored in premier terroirs across Champagne, the estate champions a Pinot Noir-dominant philosophy that delivers structural power, richness, and enduring freshness. Today, part of the LVMH group, the house is celebrated globally for its iconic Yellow Label Brut as well as prestige expressions like La Grande Dame and the vintage Cave Privée series.
