The Reserve Pinot Noir is a showcase of Marlborough's diverse terroir, sourced primarily from selected vineyards in the clay-rich Southern Valleys, where cooler microclimates and naturally low yields produce fruit of exceptional concentration and structural integrity. Hand-harvested and carefully sorted, the grapes are fermented with a small portion of whole bunches to impart structural complexity and floral lift, before undergoing maturation in French oak barriques. This traditional approach captures the essence of Marlborough Pinot Noir, balancing bright red fruit character with savory earthiness and refined tannins.
