The vineyard's terroir is defined by its extreme 60% gradient, south-facing exposure, and soils rich in Taunus quartzite and red slate. This unique geology absorbs the daytime sun and radiates warmth back to the vines at night, while the Rhine River acts as a giant mirror reflecting sunlight.
