This elegant cuvée represents a prestigious collaboration between the historic estate of Weingut Wittmann and Carl Tesdorpf, one of Germany's oldest and most respected wine merchants, founded in Lübeck in 1678. Sourced from the limestone-rich soils of Westhofen in the Rheinhessen region, this wine beautifully marries the bright, fresh orchard fruit character of Weisser Burgunder (Pinot Blanc) with the subtle weight, structure, and creamy texture of Chardonnay. Crafted under the estate's strict biodynamic principles, the grapes are gently handled and fermented with indigenous yeasts in Wittmann's historic vaulted cellars. With viticultural heritage in Westhofen dating back to 1663, Weingut Wittmann is one of Germany's most influential pioneers of organic and biodynamic viticulture in the Wonnegau sub-region of Rheinhessen. Under the visionary leadership of Philipp Wittmann, alongside his family, the estate transitioned to organic farming in 1990 and achieved full biodynamic certification in 2004.
