Wolf Blass Gold Label Riesling is a benchmark expression of South Australian Riesling, primarily sourced from the cool-climate, high-altitude vineyards of the Eden Valley. Wolfgang Blass's vision of showcasing regional excellence is beautifully realized in this elegant white wine. The Eden Valley's rocky, mineral-rich soils and significant diurnal temperature shifts allow the Riesling grapes to ripen slowly, retaining their signature piercing natural acidity and intense aromatic profile. Fermented entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve its pristine fruit purity, this wine avoids oak contact to highlight the grape's natural character. It captures the essence of the region with its classic lime juice, white floral, and slate-like mineral characteristics, which evolve gracefully into complex notes of toast and honey with age.

Wolf Blass blev grundlagt i 1966 af den tyskfødte vinmager Wolfgang Blass. Huset startede i et ydmygt blikskur i Sydaustraliens berømte Barossa Valley, men voksede hurtigt til et af landets mest hæderkronede og ikoniske vinhuse. Vingården opbyggede sit internationale ry på banebrydende teknikker inden for blending på tværs af regioner, hvor målet altid har været frugtdrevne, strukturerede vine med smidige tanniner og velafstemt fadlagring. Wolf Blass har vundet den prestigefyldte Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy hele fire gange – en hidtil uset bedrift – og er i dag kendt for sin roste, farvekodede portefølje. Denne toppes af flagskibet Black Label Cabernet Shiraz flankeret af enkeltmarksvinen Platinum Label samt de velkendte Gold Label- og Yellow Label-aftapninger.
