The Platinum Label represents the absolute pinnacle of winemaking at Wolf Blass, a house built on the vision of German immigrant Wolfgang Blass who revolutionized Australian wine in the 1960s. While the Platinum tier is most famously associated with their monumental Shiraz, any Cabernet Sauvignon elevated to this flagship status represents an extraordinary selection of the finest, most characterful parcels of fruit from South Australia's premier terroirs, such as the terra rossa soils of Coonawarra or the historic soils of the Barossa. Crafted only in exceptional vintages, this wine undergoes meticulous small-batch fermentation followed by extensive maturation in premium, tight-grained French oak barriques. The result is a majestic expression of South Australian Cabernet: intensely concentrated, structurally flawless, and displaying a seamless harmony of plush dark fruit, refined oak, and velvety tannins.

Wolf Blass blev grundlagt i 1966 af den tyskfødte vinmager Wolfgang Blass. Huset startede i et ydmygt blikskur i Sydaustraliens berømte Barossa Valley, men voksede hurtigt til et af landets mest hæderkronede og ikoniske vinhuse.
