✨ wine.spec_sheet

First released in the late 1970s, the President's Selection from Wolf Blass was conceived as a range of wines of outstanding quality, selected from the finest parcels of the vintage. Wolfgang Blass, the charismatic founder, sought to craft a Cabernet Sauvignon that defied the tough, astringent style of the era, opting instead for a wine defined by plush fruit, seamless oak integration, and immediate drinkability coupled with aging potential. Sourced from premium vineyards across South Australia—most notably Langhorne Creek and McLaren Vale—this Cabernet Sauvignon is celebrated for its rich, dark fruit profile, subtle minty notes, and structured yet velvety tannins, matured in a combination of French and American oak hogsheads.
