The name 'La Louve' (The She-Wolf) evokes local legends of the ancient forests that once bordered the vineyards. Sylvaner, a grape variety deeply rooted in Alsatian winemaking history, is often celebrated for its thirst-quenching simplicity, but under Wolfberger's careful stewardship, it achieves a refined expression. Sourced from selected clay-limestone parcels, the grapes undergo gentle pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel to preserve their natural brightness.
