Xavier Vignon's Arcane XVII L'Étoile is a masterstroke of blending that defies traditional appellation boundaries, uniting the high-altitude terroirs of Gigondas, Vacqueyras, and Beaumes de Venise. Named after the seventeenth card of the Tarot—The Star ('L'Étoile')—this cuvée represents hope, harmony, and natural balance. It is a multi-vintage blend combining the structure of 2015, the concentration of 2016, and the freshness of 2017. Vignon utilizes his signature scientific precision, sourcing grapes from old vines grown on complex limestone and clay soils, and aging the wine in a combination of concrete eggs and oak casks to preserve the pure, mineral-driven character of the Southern Rhône's highest peaks.
