Ready to enjoy upon release. Unlike wine, bottled whisky does not mature further in glass and can be kept indefinitely if stored properly away from light and heat; once opened, it is best consumed within 1 to 3 years to experience its full aromatic complexity.

Established in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii near Kyoto, Yamazaki is Japan's oldest malt whisky distillery. Situated where the Katsura, Uji, and Kizu rivers meet, the distillery benefits from a misty climate and exceptionally soft water, famously praised by legendary tea master Sen no Rikyu. The Yamazaki Single Malt Limited Edition Bottled in 2014 is a masterful marriage of vintages. It blends young, vibrant single malts matured in American oak bourbon barrels with rare, deeply aged malts matured in European oak Sherry and highly prized Mizunara (Japanese oak) casks. This combination yields a complex spirit rich with notes of ripe pineapple, sweet vanilla, dried fruit, and the signature temple incense and sandalwood spice notes characteristic of ancient Mizunara oak.
