Hailing from the historic hills of northeastern Italy, Zonin's expression of the Glera grape captures the vibrant spirit of the Prosecco DOC. The Zonin family, with a winemaking legacy dating back to 1821 in the Veneto region, has played a pivotal role in popularizing this sparkling treasure globally. Crafted primarily from the Glera grape, this wine undergoes the Charmat method in stainless steel autoclaves, a technique designed to preserve the grape's delicate, primary aromas of white peach, green apple, and fragrant wisteria blossoms. The terroir of Prosecco, characterized by mineral-rich soils and a climate moderated by the nearby Adriatic Sea and the protective Alps, imparts a crisp acidity and refreshing minerality that defines this classic Italian sparkling wine.

Zonin blev grundlagt i 1821 i Gambellaras bakkede landskab i Veneto og har gennem syv generationers dedikeret familielederskab udviklet sig til et af Italiens mest fremtrædende og anerkendte vindynastier. Under navnet Zonin1821 forener familien dybe vinbønder-traditioner med moderne innovation på tværs af Italiens vigtigste terroirs. Vinhuset er verdenskendt for sine skelsættende mousserende vine, anført af den ikoniske Prosecco Cuvée 1821 og den elegante Prosecco Rosé. Ud over de mousserende vine skaber Zonin en alsidig portefølje af klassiske stille vine – herunder udtryksfuld Valpolicella, fyldige Appassimento-rødvine og frisk Pinot Grigio delle Venezie.
