Crafted by the historic Zonin family, whose winemaking legacy in the Veneto region dates back to 1821, this Prosecco Rosé represents a modern milestone in Italian sparkling wine history. Following the landmark 2020 appellation decree that officially permitted the creation of Prosecco DOC Rosé, this cuvée elegantly marries the region's signature white Glera grape with a small percentage of Pinot Nero (Pinot Noir) vinified as a red wine. Produced using the classic Martinotti-Charmat method, the secondary fermentation takes place in pressurized stainless steel tanks to preserve the delicate, fresh aromas of wild strawberries, cherry blossoms, and red berries. The grapes are harvested from selected vineyards across the Prosecco DOC zone, where the temperate climate, cooled by Alpine breezes and warmed by the Adriatic Sea, fosters a vibrant acidity and a fine, persistent effervescence.

Zonin blev grundlagt i 1821 i Gambellaras bakkede landskab i Veneto og har gennem syv generationers dedikeret familielederskab udviklet sig til et af Italiens mest fremtrædende og anerkendte vindynastier. Under navnet Zonin1821 forener familien dybe vinbønder-traditioner med moderne innovation på tværs af Italiens vigtigste terroirs. Vinhuset er verdenskendt for sine skelsættende mousserende vine, anført af den ikoniske Prosecco Cuvée 1821 og den elegante Prosecco Rosé. Ud over de mousserende vine skaber Zonin en alsidig portefølje af klassiske stille vine – herunder udtryksfuld Valpolicella, fyldige Appassimento-rødvine og frisk Pinot Grigio delle Venezie.
