Hailing from the legendary La Grola hill in Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella, this limited edition bottling from the pioneering Allegrini family celebrates both viticultural excellence and fine art. The label features the vibrant, sun-drenched artwork of renowned Veronese painter Athos Faccincani, capturing the colorful spirit of the Veneto landscape. The wine itself is a masterclass in modern Veronese winemaking, typically crafted from a blend of Corvina Veronese and the rare, ancient grape Oseleta. Grown on a high-altitude, wind-swept plateau of white limestone soils with views of Lake Garda, the grapes develop intense aromatic complexity and refined structure. After careful hand-harvesting, the wine is aged in French oak barriques for approximately 16 months, resulting in a deep ruby red profile rich with dark wild berries, black pepper, juniper, and elegant balsamic undertones.
