Hailing from the historic hills of Orvieto in Umbria, Antinori's Casasole Amabile is a beautiful tribute to the traditional off-dry style of the region. Historically, Orvieto wines were prized for their sweetness, a characteristic born from the ancient Etruscan practice of fermenting grapes in cool, tufa-rock caves, which naturally halted fermentation and left behind luscious residual sugars. Casasole is crafted from a classic blend of Procanico and Grechetto, supplemented by other local white varieties. The grapes are harvested and gently pressed, with fermentation stopped by rapid cooling to preserve its natural sweetness and vibrant aromatics. The result is a wine that captures the sun-drenched terroir of Umbria, offering a delicate bouquet of yellow flowers, ripe peaches, and honeyed citrus, backed by a refreshing acidity that keeps the palate lively.

Marchesi Antinori er et af verdens mest traditionsrige og indflydelsesrige vindynastier med rødder, der går helt tilbage til 1385, hvor Giovanni di Piero Antinori blev optaget i det florentinske vinmagerlaug.
