Hailing from the historic Quinta do Carmo estate in the Estremoz subregion of Alentejo, Dom Martinho (also known as Don Martinho) Tinto is a classic expression of Portuguese winemaking tradition. The estate itself boasts a storied past, notably marked by a landmark partnership with the prestigious Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) in the late 20th century, which elevated the property's technical prowess. This red wine is crafted to showcase the vibrant, fruit-forward side of Alentejo. The vineyards thrive on a complex geological mosaic of clay, limestone, and schist soils.
