Typically dominated by Zinfandel, these historic field blends are co-fermented with a kaleidoscope of companion varieties such as Carignan, Mataro (Mourvedre), Syrah, and Alicante Bouschet, just as the early immigrant farmers planted them. This traditional co-fermentation coaxes out remarkable complexity, structure, and a vibrant field-blend character. Founded in 2007 by winemaker Morgan Twain-Peterson MW, Bedrock Wine Co. is rooted in Sonoma, California, with a devoted mission to rehabilitate and preserve the state's historic old-vine vineyards.
