✨ wine.spec_sheet
Hailing from one of the oldest surviving Pinot Noir plantings in the Russian River Valley, Rebecca's Vineyard was established in 1970 in the cool, fog-swept Sebastopol Hills. Bedrock Wine Co. crafts this single-vineyard bottling from these ancient, dry-farmed vines rooted in classic, free-draining Goldridge sandy loam soils. Unlike the intensely fruit-forward styles often associated with modern California Pinot Noir, the old vines of Rebecca's Vineyard yield a wine of ethereal elegance, bright natural acidity, and complex savory depth. Winemaker Morgan Twain-Peterson MW employs traditional, low-intervention techniques, including native yeast fermentation and a thoughtful portion of whole clusters, followed by aging in mostly used French oak. This minimalist approach coaxes out the vineyard's signature perfume of wild strawberries, orange peel, black tea, and forest floor, offering a rare, historic window into the early days of Sonoma Pinot Noir.
