✨ Technical Specifications
The Whole Shebang Twelfth Cuvee is Bedrock Wine Co.’s vibrant tribute to California’s rich viticultural history, crafted as a multi-vintage red blend that defies the conventional single-vintage norm. Conceived by winemaker Morgan Twain-Peterson MW, this cuvee is a field blend in spirit, combining old-vine Zinfandel with Carignan, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Alicante Bouschet, and other heritage varieties sourced from historic vineyards across the state. By blending different vintages, Bedrock captures both the youthful energy of recent harvests and the depth of older, barrel-aged components. Fermented with native yeasts and aged primarily in neutral French oak, this wine offers a juicy, spice-laden profile that recalls the robust, honest table wines enjoyed by California's early pioneering winemakers.
🍾 About the Producer
Founded in 2007 by winemaker Morgan Twain-Peterson MW, Bedrock Wine Co. is rooted in Sonoma, California, with a devoted mission to rehabilitate and preserve the state's historic old-vine vineyards. Operating out of the storied Bedrock Vineyard in Sonoma Valley—first planted in the mid-19th century—Twain-Peterson and partner Chris Cottrell champion California's viticultural heritage through minimalist, terroir-focused winemaking. The winery crafts energetic, site-expressive wines using classic heritage field blends alongside traditional varieties like Zinfandel, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay. Renowned for vitality and authenticity, Bedrock's bottlings, particularly the iconic Bedrock Heritage and single-vineyard old-vine expressions, stand as vital benchmarks of historic California wine.
