Stéphane Tissot’s 'DD' is a heartfelt tribute to his father, André, who was affectionately nicknamed 'Dédé'. This vibrant red cuvée is a traditional Jura blend of Poulsard, Trousseau, and Pinot Noir, sourced from biodynamically farmed vineyards rooted in the region's classic clay and limestone soils. Crafted with a philosophy of minimal intervention, the grapes are co-fermented with indigenous yeasts and bottled without the addition of sulfur. The result is a beautifully rustic, energetic wine that showcases crunchy red berry flavors, savory earthiness, and a touch of wild spice, embodying the historic, living spirit of Jura winemaking.

Founded in 1962 by André and Mireille Tissot, Domaine André et Mireille Tissot (widely known as Bénédicte & Stéphane Tissot) is a pioneering estate located in Montigny-les-Arsures in the Jura region of France. Under the visionary leadership of Stéphane Tissot and his wife Bénédicte, who took over in 1989, the estate transitioned to organic farming in 1999 and achieved biodynamic certification in 2004. Renowned for their uncompromising commitment to terroir, they practice meticulous parcel-by-parcel vinification using minimal sulfur and indigenous yeasts to craft highly expressive, mineral-driven wines. Their legendary portfolio includes singular white expressions like the clay-driven 'La Mailloche' and 'Les Bruyères' Chardonnays, complex Savagnins, and profound Vin Jaune, alongside exceptional reds such as the 'Trousseau Singulier'.
